Devbuild

Rocket Companies’ Devbuild program is a software development bootcamp that offers motivated team members the opportunity to advance their careers as software engineers. The program’s mission is to teach team members the skills they need to become proficient in one or more programming languages and technologies, empower them to build and solve problems through code, and prepare them for careers in technology. During the program’s 19-week duration, Devbuild provides participants with on-the-job training workshops that prepare them for success in the program, as well as help them transition from their current roles into technology roles.

My role in this program was to create a visual identity that reflected the technical details of coding while also capturing the team members’ interest in software development. Throughout the brand’s system, the idea was to emphasize the typography to convey the program’s nature. This typographic focus was complemented by a color palette that included shades of black paired with vibrant hues and iconography that formed a visual identity.
